Project Coordinator
Pacific Tech Construction, a Kelso, WA based construction company is looking for an individual with project coordinator experience to oversee project startup and closeout for federal, state, county, municipal, and private construction projects. The successful applicant will be able to fulfill the following roles & responsibilities and will meet or exceed the qualifications & experience requirements listed below. Compensation and benefits will depend upon experience and qualifications.
Roles & Responsibilities
Receive and track new contracts and awards through the startup phase.
Develop and complete submittal logs
Coordinate Bond and Certificate of Insurance procurement and submittal
Prepare and submit administrative submittal documents including:
o Site Specific Safety & Health Plans
o Construction Quality Control Plans
o Environmental Protection Plans
o Project Management Plans
Develop and update submittal logs
Manage project closeout procedures, including the procurement of warranties, as-builts, and other requirements
Prepare, transmit, and follow-up on subcontracts and subcontractor information packets
Coordinate regularly with Project Managers, Superintendents, and office staff
Ensure that company procedures and standards are maintained
Assist in the development of company procedures, standards, forms, and templates
Manage a small team of support staff
Qualifications & Experience
Must have experience creating construction submittals for federal clients (preferably DoD)
Experience managing subcontracting processes
Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
Strong time management and organizational skills
Experience and proficiency with the MS Office Suite and PDF editing software (Acrobat, Nuance, etc.)
Salary range is $60k-$85k.
