RESPONSIBILITIES:
Are you a mission-minded person who enjoys making a difference in people’s lives? Do you have retail experience and attention to detail? We’re looking for you! You will supervise and train people with disabilities to work in a thrift store environment, helping them meet their employment goals. Tracking, timekeeping, and reporting are key components of your role. Direct Support Professional training will be provided. Job also includes cashiering, customer service and sorting/processing donated goods Monday - Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to work with limited supervision, displaying positivity, initiative, and creativity in the workplace in a team environment. One year experience working with adults with intellectual/ developmental disabilities preferred. Good written and oral communication skills. Basic computer skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have desire to work with people with disabilities. Must pass criminal history check and drug screen, including negative for all marijuana products due to federal contracts.
Physical requirements: Must be able to team lift and care for personal needs of clients. Must be able to stand, sit, bend, twist, carry, and not have any lifting restrictions.
