Part time caregiver at Adult Foster Home. Mental Health Home. 4 residents. Tuesday - Friday noon - 6 PM. But would be appreciated if you can be a bit flexible with hours.
Adult Foster Homes (AFH) provide housing, services and assistance with activities of daily living to adults diagnosed with a qualifying mental illness. Caregivers provide direct resident care, complete assignments as a universal worker, assist in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for residents, and upholds core values of respect, integrity, commitment and trust.
Requirements:
Must complete state required training and testing.
Must satisfactorily complete background check.
Must have driver's license and insurance to transport residents.
Must be over 21 to satisfy Oregon licensing requirements (OAR309-040-0360a).
Must have or obtain CPR/First Aid within 30 days of hiring.
Essential Functions:
Provides direct resident care while promoting resident dignity, independence and choice, while maintaining rules and structure.
Regularly observes residents' physical and mental conditions and reports changes to the owner.
Assists with or performs daily living activities like, Medication management and accurately documenting care services provided and observations on communication log and incident reports.
Reports and documents all incidents and accidents immediately.
Assists residents to and from activities and appointments.
Performs First Aid and initiates emergency response procedures as required.
Follows and supports community fire safety and infection control practices and promptly reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to immediate supervisor.
Serves meals, assisting residents at mealtime and assists with dining room and kitchen clean up and maintenance.
Assists with housekeeping in common areas.
Attends and participates in training, in-services, and staff meetings.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Wages and Hours:
24 hours per week with schedule to be assigned by employer.
$17.00 per hour
