Dental Assistant
Fantastic opportunity for candidate with experience and credentials as a Dental Assistant. To excel in this role, you should be a team-player, highly organized, and excellent patient communication skills. Experience as a Dental Assistant with Oregon Radiologic Proficiency Certificate strongly preferred. Oregon EFDA and/or front desk experience is a plus! Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during all chair-side procedures.
Take X-rays as delegated by the dentist.
Perform other EFDA duties as delegated by the dentist.
Patient communication and giving post-op instructions as directed by dentist.
Proper documentation and entry of information in Practice Management Software.
Sterilization and equipment maintenance in compliance with Infection control policies.
Other duties as directed including supporting front office as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Depending on qualifications. $13-$16.
Experience:
Dental Assistant: 2+ years (Preferred)
Experience with practice management software (Preferred).
Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA): 1+ year (Preferred).
Expanded Function Dental Assistant with Restorative Function Certificate: 1+ year (Preferred).
License and / or Certification :
Oregon Radiologic Proficiency Certificate (Strongly Preferred)
Current Oregon EFDA Certificate (Preferred)
Work Location:
One location, clinical setting
