Responsibilities:
Guide the expedition as they explore the employment opportunities of their dreams! Assist individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities to lead self-directed lives and contribute to their communities. Assist the Employment Services Manager and Director to coordinate and facilitate services for Trainees and Clients. Assist with documentation and recordkeeping per the Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and all other applicable state and federal regulations, as required for state and federal certifications. Full-time day-shift position acts as an Employment Services Coordinator for Sunrise Enterprises, a private, nonprofit corporation that supports community inclusion for adults with disabilities.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma and at least two yearsâ experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (or acceptable combination of education and experience). Good written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate computer skills. Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification. Must be physically able to assist Trainees and Clients, including with hygiene/personal care if needed. Valid Oregon driverâs license and insurable by Sunrise insurance carrier. Must be able to pass criminal history check and drug screen including negative for all marijuana products due to federal contracts.
