A local farm is currently seeking an Agricultural Lead Mechanic with 3-5 years of experience. This individual is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment which includes diesel tractors, farm trucks, mechanical harvesters, mowers, pesticide spray equipment, ATV’s, and pickup trucks. They also will be managing inventory of parts, planning, scheduling, record keeping, purchasing parts and supplies and be required to maintain working relationships with suppliers.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Order parts and track inventory.
Track and manage workflow.
Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles such as tractors and harvesters.
Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments as necessary.
Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, welding equipment, grinders, or saws.
Test and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools.
Record details of repairs made, and parts used.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Must have a High School Diploma/GED
Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Full Time and Long Term Opportunities
Monday-Friday and 7am-5pm
$18.00-$26.00/Hr (DOE)
