Currently seeking a candidate who has 10+ years’ experience in the field production and crew management of construction to fill the current need of a Construction Crew Leader; this is a supervisory position, and will supervise field construction positions, including workers, and laborers.

Job duties include, but are not limited too:

Lead members of a small production crew to demonstrate safe and efficient construction practices and equipment use.

Direct the work of onsite crew members as specified by Construction General Manager.

Train laborers and workers in the correct way to perform tasks and continually check on their progress.

Give feedback on the crew’s performance and suggest ways to improve.

Identify issues and rule violations with crew members promptly and report to supervisor.

Serve as a communicator to field staff, supporting and advancing company values and standards.

Provide reports to determine labor progress.

Follow and help maintain a daily plan of action to organize tasks to complete jobs effectively and within the allotted time.

Communicate job requirements to crew before beginning work emphasizing special needs of clients.

Assign tasks and determine needed equipment and/or materials for the day.

Ensure that all vehicles and equipment are in proper and safe working condition at the end of the day and for use the following morning.

Keep supervisor informed of progress, issues, etc. throughout the day and recommend reasonable adjustments to plan necessary to complete daily goals. Seek clarification as needed.

Keep equipment clean and orderly; Promote the safe and efficient use of equipment and vehicles, advancing a culture of safety at all times.

Communicate any needs expressed directly by the client to the Construction General Manager to help ensure client satisfaction.

Always promote and carry out Company’s values of quality and productivity

Provide project schedule to management for each project to include the below items at least.

o Material amounts and purchase dates.

o Construction schedule with labor needs.

o Dates and amounts of invoices that will need to be paid.

o Dates and amounts of payments to be received from clients.

Provide oversight on projects that are being done and ensure the timelines and budgets are being maintained.

Ensure all safety procedures are being adhered to.

Ensure crew is obtaining maximum efficiency with time and materials.

Maintain all progress of projects through construction and endure all documents are entered.

Provide daily progress reports to upper management with details of project status and changes.

Full Time and Long Term Opportunities Available

Day Shift and Monday – Friday; occasional weekends and overtime may be required

$20.00-$25.00/Hr (DOE)
