Vertechs Electrical is a wireless telecommunications electrical installation contractor working throughout the Pacific Northwest. GENERAL DUTIES

1. Job Preparation: Review scope of work and develop plan with Foreman and Operations Manager. Work with Warehouse Manager to identify materials/stock supplies. Work with Tower Technicians to ensure timelines are met and in support of one another.

2. Technical: Manage electrical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of wireless communication systems, standby generators, and DC distribution systems. Understand and utilize secondary power systems. Interpret construction drawings and diagrams. Assist with the operation and interpretation of testing equipment, project plans, and client requests. Communicate with utility services, clients, and others to ensure continuous flow of services.

3. Utilize Tools and Equipment. Use, manage, and care for a variety of tools and equipment throughout the workday.

4. Safety: Perform safety checks, participate in safety discussions with team, and uphold the highest safety standards.

5. Documentation: Utilize a variety of online programs to complete technical work and communicate with co-workers, including Email, Microsoft Teams, Trello.

6. Other duties as assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

Electrical License: General Journeyman

Ability to work in Washington and Oregon

Driver’s License with a good driving record (past 3 years)

Drug testing required

Ability to travel throughout the northwest and be out of town up to 3 nights a week.

Ability to work overtime

Preferred

Experience in wireless infrastructure

Certifications applicable to the work (OSHA 30, CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, RF Awareness, Hazard Communication) Company can provide.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work in weather conditions ranging from snow, rain, wind to high heat and everything in between.

Position Requires: lifting, carrying, squatting, pulling, reaching, bending, sitting, walking.
