Career Growth & Development: The development program lasts approximately 12 months. Upon completion, you’ll have an additional six months to advance into an Assistant Manager position. You’ll receive training and 1-to-1 support and engage in mentorships.

Learn Operations Leadership : During the program, you’ll learn the business and industry, and build your skills by contributing to financial, marketing, administrative, regulatory, quality, people, and facilities management.

Contribute to Creating Life-Changing Medicines: Maintaining our exceptional quality and service standards is key to creating life-changing medicines. You’ll develop the skills to meet production and cost goals while ensuring compliance with regulations and BioLife SOPs.

Travel Opportunities: Through our comprehensive travel package, you’ll visit BioLife locations across the country. Build your network while learning from BioLife team members at different centers.

Supportive Teamwork: Foster an inclusive team environment with a group of diverse individuals. Collaborate and communicate with team members at all levels of the organization.

Exceptional Customer Service: Create a positive donor experience and maintain donor satisfaction. Assist with production as needed.

Relocation: After completing the program and being promoted into a management position, you’ll be required to relocate to one of BioLife’s locations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent amount of leadership experience (approximately 3 years)

Willingness to travel up to 75% - 85% and relocate upon completion of the program

Live near a BioLife Plasma Services location or be willing relocate to Appleton, WI for the duration of the program

Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Have a valid driver’s license for the entire duration of the program

Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees

Ability to frequently lift to 32 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.

Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance

Due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working with SOPs, GDP, GMP, CLIA, and the FDA

Experience working in a highly regulated environment

SUMMARY:The Manager, Marine Operations is responsible for the oversight of Offshore Wind marine obligations and time-chartered vessels supporting Offshore Wind activities. As a member of the operations team, the Manager, Marine Operations serves as the principal point of contact between vessel owners/operators and company management for operational, logistical, and compensatory matters. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the development of feasibility studies and method statements in connection with contracted offshore construction projects. Coordinate and oversee the execution works of the a near shore cable lay barge in close collaboration with the client and stakeholders. Be up to date on vessel requirements, designs, new constructions, developments and collect knowledge of all relevant industry stakeholders in the wind and offshore construction space. Actively participate in relevant internal and external meetings covering vessel strategy in offshore wind projects, including client meetings, vessel supplier meetings, and third parties such as designers and shipyards. Assist with vessel contracts from signing, construction and acceptance, mobilization, and demobilization including contractual enforcement and support to vessel end-users. Conduct assessment of US laws and regulations for operating Jones Act and foreign vessels. Lead in port operations and service projects through planning and execution phase. Review of deck layouts, general arrangement, relevant vessel equipment, workflows, loading arrangements and lifting plans. Work collaboratively with the commercial team to tender new opportunities and procedures for vessel suppliers. Assist in the review of client tender documentation and preparation of contract schedules. EDUCATION:Bachelor\'s degree from a maritime academy or equivalent preferred. At least 15 years in a related maritime business may substitute for a degree. EXPERIENCE:5 - 10 years of experience with demonstrated increases of supervisory responsibility within the disciplines of the maritime community i.e.: Operations, Engineering, Petroleum and Cargo Transportation with a minimum of 2 years of sea time. Demonstrated experience in the tug and barge industry preferred. TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
