The ideal candidate will have experience in several relevant areas of HR and be excited about jumping in, rolling up their sleeves, and adding immediate value to an integral team at a fast-growing tech company! This position is based in the US and works in a team environment to support Confluent employees and managers across the US, while collaborating with our International People Support & Operations team. This role will report to the Manager, People Operations.What You Will Do:
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
Assist in the development of training materials and resources
Maintain employee records and HR databases
Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as transfer letters, contracts, and policies
Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics for management review
Support HR audits as needed
Provide general administrative support to the HR department
Assist in special projects or initiatives as assigned
What You Will Bring:
3+ years of hands-on experience managing day to day HR administration
Experience with employee hire to retire process
Strong ability to research and problem-solving skills
Previous experience with HR information systems is required (Workday experience is a plus)
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on projects and issues
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization across multiple teams
