Cook needed at Hazel’s on Main in Monmouth, Oregon. We’re a small 10-table restaurant and bar featuring wine country cuisine.
We need a person who can run the kitchen solo, and work with others to provide outstanding customer experiences.
This is an awesome opportunity for someone who has the desire to produce excellent dishes on a nightly basis, as well as create special event dinners, brunches, etc. We’re not necessarily seeking a candidate with years of chef-ly experience, but rather someone with a can-do attitude who will help grow our brand.
Job Responsibilities:
Accurately cook tickets and send out in a timely manner.
Cost dishes and keep food costs down. Stay on top of inventory and PAR.
Responsible for safe food handling and kitchen cleanliness.
1-2 years+ experience as cook, chef, sous chef, prep cook, line cook, food truck cook, winery chef or private chef. Regular, reliable and punctual attendance is mandatory.
Interest in Oregon wine scene a plus!
Be sure to include any relevant experience and certifications, both professional and personal.
