Job Title: Greeter / Seating Host
Hours: Varies based on season. Part-time to full-time.
Job Description: The Original Pancake House is seeking a bright smiling face to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, guest-centric environment greeting our customers and assisting them to their tables during high volume times.
Job duties:
- Demonstrating genuine hospitality and setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience by making every single guest feel welcome at the door.
- Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations
- Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
- Introducing guests to their server
- Assisting with To-go order fulfillment and accepting payments
- Thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
- Answering phone calls and taking reservations
- Light cleaning and upkeep duties
- Assisting with other customer needs when necessary
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7:00am-1:00pm, Saturday-Sunday 7:00am-2:00pm, Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
