Nancy Jo's Burgers and Fries is hiring an experienced Early Morning Prep person for our West Salem location. You must have experience prepping in a commercial kitchen prepping fresh vegetables, potatoes, parring bacon, buttering buns and cleaning the equipment that is used to do this. This position cleans and changes the oil in the fryers once every 7 days. You must be able to lift 50lbs or more and stand for long periods of time. You must have an Oregon Food Handlers Card and you must be at least 25 years of age, show up to work on time and be done prepping by opening at 11. This job is for 5 to 7 days a week. The prep time takes approximately 2 to 3 1/2 hours each day. Longer when fryers are being cleaned. If you would be available for cooking the morning shift after prep, we could talk about that. Experience using a Flat Top Grill, Fryers, Sharp Knives among other commercial kitchen equipment and have the ability to read and write in English is required.
