Yamhill County has one regular, part-time position (20 hours/week) for an Office Specialist II to work at our Behavioral Health Divisions in McMinnville and/or the Newberg office. Duties will include some or all of (but not limited to) the following: phone operator/call center; front desk/reception and additional front desk coverage; client check-in; data entry; filing; faxing; tracking medications; assisting LMP’s, clinicians, and doctors with administrative work; insurance verification; appointment scheduling; miscellaneous typing; and other duties as assigned. Work schedule will likely include early evening.

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel are required. Applicants will be required to pass skills tests including typing, document production, and Spanish (if applicable). Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required. Successful completion of a background check is also required.

The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, effective problem-solving skills, flexibility, and an ability to learn procedures and computer applications quickly (MMIS, EPIC, Raintree). They must also be self-directed, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work in a team environment and to interact with co-workers and the public in a courteous, professional manner, and exhibit excellent communication skills.
