Minimum Requirements
- Eighteen (18) years of age
- Speak English
Preferred (not required):
- Prior experience is strongly desired
Employer Notes:
- This position involves taking care of one (1) male quadriplegic; uses ceiling lift in his
bedroom for transferring.
- Employer conducts a background And reference checks prior to the first day of employment
- There are 2 positions open to cover 7 days, schedule – is from 9PM to approximately 10AM
- This employer has a dog on site that will be a part of daily interactions
- This is a sleeping shift, caregiver can sleep while employer sleeps
Job Duties:
- Assist client with mobility around the house with the assistance of electric wheelchair
- Basic food preparation
- Provide medication reminders to client
- Light housekeeping including things such as cleaning up after meals including dishes, laundry etc.
- Assist with personal daily tasks such as dressing / undressing, bathing, toileting and oral hygiene
- Any other duties as assigned
Pay / Benefits:
- Pay is a daily rate of $200 per day (approximately 12 to 13 hour shift)
- Private pay
- Time and a half for working Holidays
- Paid vacation
- Minimum Wage Certified: Exempt
