We have immediate openings for a resident care manager and 1 caregiver for one of our adult foster homes. Resident managers work 5-24 hour shifts and caregivers work 2-24 hour shifts, which start at 6pm. Our residents sleep throughout the night (most of the time) so you can also rest. Training/classes would start immediately unless you've already completed the EQC training. If you've already completed EQC, we can get you going immediately. The resident manager position requires the Oregon EQC training before you can start, as well as 2 years of any verifiable caregiving experience being REQUIRED by the state of Oregon. CPR and first aid training are also required, however we are willing to pay for all of the above training for the right candidate.
This position includes private room with bed, dresser, and tv with xfinity cable/internet during your shift. All meals for your days worked will be included with residents. We handle all of the groceries and necessities of the home.
A typical day will consist of assisting residents with day to day activities, cooking/preparing all meals laid out by our pre-planned menus, cleaning, documentation, and administering meds. This type of work has an always changing environment and could vary day to day depending on the needs of our residents.
