Hopeful Care Inc. is seeking a Dedicated Supported Living Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. We provide individualized support services in accordance with Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR 411) for Supported Living Programs.
Position Details:
Schedule: Wednesdays & Thursdays (potential weekends)
Hours: 10 hours per week (about 4-hour shifts, flexible)
Start Time: Mid-morning to afternoon
Pay: $25/hour
Location: Salem, OR
Duties & Responsibilities (per OAR requirements):
Provide direct support that promotes independence, dignity, and choice for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal prep, housekeeping, medication reminders, and community integration.
Implement individualized support plans and follow person-centered practices.
Ensure health, safety, and well-being of clients at all times.
Accurately complete documentation, reports, and communication logs in compliance with OAR 411 standards.
Support clients in accessing community resources, appointments, and recreational activities.
Uphold client rights, confidentiality, and ethical standards of care.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to pass a background check (per state requirements).
CPR/First Aid certification and OIS training a plus (or willingness to obtain).
