Pettit Staffing seeking a reliable and hardworking Office Furniture Installer/Delivery Helper for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will assist with the delivery, unloading, and installation of office furniture at various customer sites.
Good Driving Record, background check and 12-panel drug test.
This position requires physical labor, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the loading, transport, and unloading of office furniture and equipment
Support the installation and assembly of desks, chairs, cabinets, cubicles, etc.
Follow floor plans and instructions for proper furniture placement
Safely use hand tools and basic power tools
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate professionally with clients and team members
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must pass a criminal background check
Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and working on your feet for extended periods
Previous experience with moving or furniture assembly preferred
Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
