Pettit Staffing is seeking a Facilities Technician for a food manufacturing company.
This temporary to hire opportunity involves maintaining and repairing the company's building and grounds, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a variety of entry level technical skills and be comfortable performing routine maintenance tasks as well as working with subcontractors.

Shift: 1st shift – 6:30am-3:30pm
Some Key Responsibilities:
Building & Grounds Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to the building structure and grounds.
Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
General Repairs: Carry out minor carpentry, painting, masonry work, and plumbing repairs to keep the facility in optimal condition.
Maintenance Requests: Respond promptly to maintenance requests from headquarters and facility staff, using hand tools, power tools, and specialty equipment.
