Granite Countertops and More is presently looking for an EXPERIENCED Polisher/Fabricator immediately.
If you have never polished granite or quartz you would not be a good fit as we are not looking to train at this time.
Ideal candidate would have experience polishing undermount sinks, prepping seams, mitering edges, etc.
We are also needing a helper around the shop. The ideal candidate would be trained on a forklift and be able to use basic shop tools like a circular saw, etc. This is a helper position so there will be various tasks every day. The ideal candidate would be a self starter that does not necessarily require someone to give them a "to do list" every day once they learn the job.
Granite on average weighs about 15+lbs per square foot. This job requires heavy lifting on a regular basis.

Schedule: Day shift 7am-3:30pm. Monday-Friday
(Occasional overtime available/required)
Pay: $20-23 per hour DOE

This is a very physical job that requires heavy lifting.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a self starter and have strong a strong work ethic.
Must be able to work in and enjoy a team environment.
Maneuvering forklift & slabs safely in a busy environment.
Assist with general shipping and receiving duties; Unloading slabs & checking to make sure slabs are the correct size and without damage. Also unloading pallets from supplier trucks checking to make sure that all items are accounted for & nothing is damaged.
Keep granite yard clean and organized and safe by making sure that remnants and deliveries are put in the correct location, making sure that everything is stored in a neat and safe manor.
Keep granite yard clean by picking up trash and occasional weeding.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Must be able to listen and follow directions.
One year or more of recent, verifiable fabrication experience.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Must be Safety focused.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.
