Pettit Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join a growing manufacturing team.
This is a possible temporary to hire opportunity.
The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, including packaging, palletizing, labeling, and loading materials.
This role also provides general support to production staff as needed.
This position may require a background check and 12-panel drug test.
Primary Responsibilities:
Package finished products for shipment to customers
Palletize and shrink-wrap outbound freight
Label packages and prepare documentation for LTL and truckload shipments
Load and unload pallets using a forklift (certification preferred or provided)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area
Monitor inventory of shipping materials and request resupply as needed
Communicate with internal departments when shipments are ready for pickup.
Provide general assistance to the production team when required.
