I need professional sketched and colored headshots and/or full body portraits of a number of characters for an upcoming new book series planning on being released 2025. These artworks will be featured on the home website for this series. Preferably, I would like hand drawn and painted works, as the cover (already being done by another professional artist) is acryllic on canvas. Even if that is not your style, please reach out with examples of your work. You set the price.
I am the author of the series, and would like to work closely with a local artist from the Salem, Dallas, Independence, Monmouth areas. Before choosing the artist, I will need to see examples of your work to determine if your style will match the spirit/feeling of the series.
After confirming that your style meshes with the series, I will give you the relevant character descriptions via email. Following, sketches of my own and a few you'd have done will be shared and discussed in person (we'll meet at a local coffee shop). To avoid scams, payment will be rendered at that time only.
If everything works out, there is potential for you to be a mainstay-artist for the entirety of the series. This will amount to decades worth of work, and frequent shout-outs, or mentions on the series website. The overarching series title will have multiple sub-series of different genres, so this will be a life-long endeavor of mine, thus, many artworks will be needed in the future.
