Hi-tech Injection Mold & Pattern Supplier in McMinnville OR, specializing in orthopedic implants, turbine engine vane, blade, and rotary components for commercial and defense. We are looking for a CNC machinist who wants to improve their skills, income and grow into Toolmaking, Programming and/or Project Management. Using Siemens NX CAD/CAM software, learn to program, assemble, and inspect what you have machined using Haas CNC vertical machines, CMM and Laser Scanner.
Requirements:
● Excellent mechanical sense and visualization.
● Must be reliable, positive attitude, meticulous and organized.
● 5 years CNC set-up & machining experience.
● Experience with setting tools, vises, and fixtures.
● Ability to machine basic components using HAAS CNC machine to tight tolerances (+/-.0005)
● Ability to select correct instruments to inspect to tolerances required (<.0005).
● Must be willing to adapt and learn new manufacturing practices.
● Must be willing to work as part of a team and complete required tasks.
● Must be drug free.
● Able to lift 50 lbs.
● Ability to learn quickly NX or SolidWorks to review 3D models and designs.
● Must be able to follow procedures.
● High-School Diploma or equivalent required.
Primary Duties:
● Responsible for machining mold and fixture components to specifications.
● Install hardware, adjust, and fit components to assemblies.
● CNC setup, operation, tooling, cutter path adjustments.
● Maintain CNC and workstation cleanliness.
● Edit Programs to optimize cutting.
● Work with designers, offer manufacturing ideas.
● Support workflow and production processes to ensure continuous and efficient running of the CNC machines.
● Tool Assembly and finishing of machined tooling components.
