Pressing Technician – Starting at $16.50- $17.25 an hour
All Star Labor is now looking to hire a Pressing Technician in a food production company in the Salem area.
As a Pressing Area Technician, you will assist technical personnel in the making of the food product. Assist technical personnel in equipment operation during production.
Move press cages between press areas during operation.
Clean equipment and reusable elements such as filters between production runs.
Direct product waste to appropriate disposal equipment with the use of automated equipment.
Operate Press Feed and powered lift equipment from elevated control panels.
Monitor and adjust temperature of product storage tanks with the use of manual and electronic
systems.
One year experience in an automated industrial food manufacturing setting in a position involving
intermediate food processing and sanitation equipment is required. Must be able to read, write, comprehend, basic math skills, and process reports to the supervisors when needed. Must be able to stand 10 hours per day and lift up to 75lbs. Must be able to tolerate strong smells in the work area.
PAY AND SCHEDULE FOR POSITION:
Starting at $16.50 for Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Mon -Fri, some Saturdays
Starting at $17.25 for Swing Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Sun-Thru

Warehouse: $17.25-$20 an hour
All Star Labor and Staffing is now hiring looking to hire Machine Operator and Palletizer Associates for a Food Production company.
Machine Operator Duties: Operates food processing machines that produce food products. Ensuring quality of product, troubleshooting the machine as needed, completing reports, sanitation of area. Must follow company safety guidelines, HACCP requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices. Experience operating machinery is REQUIRED. Food industry experience is preferred.
Palletizer Duties: Transportation/delivery of pallets from the packaging line to the distribution center. Wrapping loaded pallets according to company guidelines. Ensuring the electric jacks are in working order and reports problems to the maintenance department. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices. Pallet jack or forklift experience is REQUIRED.
SCHEDULE:
Monday – Friday with some Saturdays and possibly Sunday. Must be open to overtime if required.
(shifts fill up quickly, please ASK to see if your preferred shift is available)
Day: 5am-2pm
Swing: 2pm-10pm
Night: 10pm-5am
PAY:
Machine Operator: $18-$20 an hour depending on shift
Palletizer: $17.25-$19.25 an hour depending on shift
