Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move steel products and materials within the warehouse using manual labor and forklift operation. This includes lifting and handling materials that may weigh up to [specific weight, e.g., 50-75 lbs].
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and assist in inventory audits to ensure accuracy and availability of stock.
Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in compliance with safety regulations. Ensure the safe movement of materials and products throughout the warehouse.
Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards.
Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and in good working condition.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Report any safety concerns or incidents to management immediately.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.
