UFP Woodburn, LLC is a wood products company that manufactures lumber material for well known companies. Our Woodburn location is looking to add members to our day and swing shift team!Hours: 7am-330pm Monday-Friday w/possible Saturdays shift can be 8-12/hrs
3pm-1130pm Monday-Friday (overtime will occur often) shift can be 8-12hrsWe are looking for team members who have:
-worked in a fast paced environment
-lifted heavy material
-worked in hot/cold environments
-experience meeting/exceeding production goals
-been able to detect discrepancies on paperwork or quality of product
-have used measuring tape and pneumatic nail guns
-have open availability and reliable transportationFor Forklift candidates:
-forklift experience (hyster propane)
-experience loading lumber that is 4ft-20ft long
-can properly meet/exceed loading goals
-you have operated forklift in narrow areas and uneven groundPositions available:Machine Operators-responsible for entering sizes/other data on computer system in machine and feeding lumber (4x6 douglas fir) to be cut to size.Pay rate: $17-$18/hr for the first 60 days. Pay raise based on performance/attendance.Lumber stackers-Days and 2nd shift
responsible for assisting machine operator, stacking lumber material onto carts, labeling/packaging. In this specific department, building wood products will also be required.Pay rate: $15-$16.50/hr. Raises based on performance/attendanceWood Products Assemblers-days
responsible for following product design orders and building wood products (trellises, pallets, coils, picnic tables, table horses, etc) knowledge of pneumatic nail guns and staple guns highly preferredPay rate: $16.00 + performance based bonuses. Raises based on performance/attendanceForklift Operator II-responsible for loading lumber material on a timely basis. Job offer will be contingent based on written test and loading/driving forklift test.Pay rate: $17-18.50/hr for first 60 days. Raises based on performance/attendance
