OVERVIEW:
Responsible for bookkeeping, financial reporting, and general office support.
Hours: 3 mornings per week (up to 15 hrs./week)
Pay: $16-$18/hour (based on experience), plus paid holidays
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma
Reliable transportation, valid license, and insurance
Bookkeeping Experience
Confidentiality with sensitive information
Strong computer and organizational skills
Friendly, professional, and detail-oriented
Excellent communication and customer service
Ability to work independently
Pass a background check (paid for by the church)
Experience with financial software, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint
Accurate and timely handling of accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reports
Consistent attendance and reliability
Commitment to modeling Christian values and professionalism
KEY DUTIES:
Manage accounts, payroll, and assist with financial reports for the Church Council
Maintain personnel files and assist with benefits administration
Provide general office support: phones, email, scheduling, correspondence, and recordkeeping
Assist with communications (newsletter, website, social media)
Order supplies and support leadership with administrative tasks
