At Window Supply Warehouse, Salem OR we are seeking an experienced Estimator in windows.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge in construction estimating and experience with windows- they will also spend time preparing accurate cost estimates. This role is responsible for ensuring that our projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities will include:
Measuring & Assessing- Review what the customer provides including dimensions, blueprints, and site measurements.
Preparing Estimates & Quotes- Calculate the costs of materials. factor in labor and installation costs along with any additional charges.
Communicate with Customers & Team- answer questions about pricing, materials, or options.
Conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best pricing and terms.
Record-keeping & Documentation- This includes keeping records of estimates, quotes and approvals. Track which quotes convert to actual orders.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management review, outlining estimated costs.
