Come join the OCDC team as a Network Technician! This position works with other IT staff to maintain the Agency's information systems and resources. Tasks include daily maintenance of all systems including but not limited to: operating systems, networking, and applications support. Network Tech is part of the help desk to support of systems within the Agency. RESPONIBILITIES:
Investigate complaints and concerns by end-users and manager regarding both local and wide area networks, software applications, and hardware issues.
Assist in installation and support of all Agency authorized software: Web-Based Applications, Microsoft products and financial systems.EDUCATION:
One year related experience OR combination of equivalent education and experience. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of Windows Server, TCP/IP Networking (including internet and intranet technologies), Citrix Terminal Server Software, Database Management.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
Excellent customer service skills required.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
Ability to travel frequently overnight. BENEFITS:
