C&R Real Estate Services is seeking a Storage Facility Assistant Manager with SALES EXPERIENCE for Highway 22 Storage, Salemâs Premier 495-unit secure storage facility. This multi-purpose property offers regular and heated self-storage, as well as INDOOR RV storage and COVERED RV storage. U-Haul Rental is also available at this property!
This position is considered full-time with benefits at 32 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday (Wednesday and Thursday are your days off). You will be eligible for health benefits after 60 days of continuous employment, as well as paid holidays and PTO. Two weeks of paid vacation after one year. Additionally, living on-site with a 10% rent discount is a possible! The Storage Facility Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of a specific property including marketing, maintaining property integrity, collecting rents, serving notices, developing reports and preparing agreements, selling merchandise and leasing U-Haul trucks. The right candidate will have some maintenance AND janitorial skills to keep the property clean and in pristine condition.
â¢ Strong, demonstrated SALES EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
â¢ Self-storage or property management experience is PREFERRED but NOT REQUIRED.
â¢ U-Haul experience is a plus!
â¢ Maintenance experience is a plus!
â¢ Excellent marketing skills in order to competitively market the property.
â¢ Must have a proven history of providing TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE.
â¢ Computer proficient and able to learn new company software.
â¢ Knowledge of basic maintenance, painting, landscaping, and cleaning techniques including product use.
â¢ Good verbal and written communication skills, strong active listening skills, and ability to understand and meet the needs of residents.
â¢ Must be able to balance many tasks and be highly organized with acute attention to detail.
â¢ Working outdoors in all the various elements is required.
â¢ Possess current and valid driverâs license, proof of insurance and clean driving record
