Parkwood Design specializes in high end custom residential cabinetry. We have been in business in the Salem, OR area for over 26 years and have completed projects all over the state. We are looking for a hardworking, organized team player to join our team and lead the finishing department.
Your responsibilities would include leading the paint department to make sure our timelines and quality standards are met. To keep the paint area clean, organized and working in an efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Make sure product received is in paint ready condition.
Apply stains, primers and paints to produce an even blemish free finish.
Keep equipment clean and maintained.
Use sanders and other equipment to scuff between coats.
Caulking of doors and fronts.
Ability to mix and color match stains and paints.
Keep area clean and organized.
To accurately keep paint, stains and supplies in stock to complete work.
Perform quality control to ensure colors and stains meet customer or shop samples.
Qualifications:
3+ years in cabinet finishing.
Knowledge of various stains, paints and equipment.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
Be neat, organized and to work efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
