Currently hiring a Commercial Diesel Engine Mechanic to maintain and our log truck fleet of 16 trucks
This position is generally M-F from 10am-6pm, with most weekends and all holidays off. (must be flexible)
Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repairs to truck.
Repairs and coordinates the maintenance and repair of diesel engine systems
Performs inspections & annual maintenance
Repair in Accordance with Factory Repair & Time Guide
Examples and maintains a positive, winning, attitude towards customers, fellow employees and the general public.
Service calls and occasional tire work
Ability to tear down and reassemble commercial engines as needed
CDL desired but not required
Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic Requirements:
The skill set listed above is required to successfully perform the duties of this position and necessitate an individual with the capacity to multitask under tight deadlines involving periodic stress.
2+ years heavy truck shop experience REQUIRED and performance test passed
Must be fluent in Caterpillar, Cummins and Detroit commercial engines
Must be able to pass drug test
Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic Compensation Package:
Highly competitive compensation depending on experience. $26-$35 per hour
