Job Requirements
Minimum Age: 18
Minimum Education: GED, High School Diploma or, Equivalent
Experience: 3 months experience where operating a forklift is the primary job function. Need high stacking experience in particular and strong safety background.
Hours per Week: 40 or more
Job Type: Full and Part time temporary work from approximately 09/13/24 thru 10/31/24.
Availability: Must be available to work days or swing shift. Weekend work may be required.

Physical Requirements:
Most activities involved sitting on a forklift operating controls.
Associates will dismount several times per hour to label totes, clean work area, check machinery or other activities
While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate is frequently required to sit; hear or talk; use close and distance vision; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects and manipulate controls
Associate is occasionally required to walk, stand, kneel, reach, crouch, climb, shovel, and lift up to 80 pounds
Associate will be exposed to a physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes and similar elements
Primary Duties:
Operate a forklift to move, relocate and stack hazelnut totes by lot
Will work in forklift teams to trade full and empty totes in order to keep hazelnut washer running at full capacity
Receiving: Safely and accurately label totes, unload trucks, and stack totes in correct area
Washing: Track product so as not to over or under fill washer and drying bins
Equipment: Maintain forklift and station equipment
Inventory: Keep appropriate records of where product is located and lots being washed
Other Duties:
Clean up debris from equipment and the work area
Visually inspect product for foreign material or other concerns and report anything suspicious to the supervisor at once
Identify safety concerns as well as cost saving opportunities and report concerns to supervisor at once
Promotes a safe work environment through personal actions
Investigate and assist in resolving discrepancies
Other duties as assigned
