We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment, including semi trucks, trailers, rolloff trucks, rolloff bins, forklifts, and various other machinery. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and all aspects of maintenance and repair, from routine inspections to engine rebuilds.

Responsibilities:

- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) inspections on semi trucks, trailers, rolloff trucks, rolloff bins, forklifts, and other equipment.

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and carry out necessary repairs.

- Overhaul and rebuild diesel engines and transmissions.

- Inspect and repair hydraulic systems and components.

- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.

- Troubleshoot electrical systems, brakes, and other components.

- Perform emergency repairs as needed to minimize downtime.

- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

- Collaborate with the team to improve operational efficiency and equipment reliability.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or similar role, working on semi trucks, trailers, rolloff trucks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.

- Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and related systems.

- Experience with both routine maintenance (PM) and more advanced repairs, including engine rebuilds.

- Must have your own set of tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with electronic diagnostic tools.

- CDL license (preferred but not required).

- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
