Woodward Heating, Air & Plumbing is hiring for a Journeyman Plumber to work on our various construction projects. Help us grow our new plumbing division and be rewarded for your efforts!
Responsibilities:
- Install plumbing systems into residential remodels and custom homes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure proper installation and functionality of plumbing systems
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues using pressure gauges and other diagnostic equipment
- Adhere to safety standards and building codes throughout all plumbing installations and repairs
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber
- Proficient in using power tools and equipment related to plumbing work
- Strong knowledge of reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Experience in construction plumbing, including new installations and remodeling projects
- Ability to assemble, install, and maintain various types of plumbing systems
- Capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair plumbing issues effectively
