Woodward Heating, Air & Plumbing is hiring for a Journeyman Plumber as we continue to build out Salem's #1 plumbing company. Help us grow our new plumbing division and be rewarded for your efforts!
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential homes and small businesses
- Access customer needs and provide solutions with clear and precise communication
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues using pressure gauges and other diagnostic equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions
- Adhere to safety standards and building codes throughout all plumbing installations and repairs
- Snake, camera, and clear drain lines
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber
- Proficient in using power tools and equipment related to plumbing work
- Strong knowledge of local building codes
- Ability to assemble, install, and maintain various types of plumbing systems
- Capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair plumbing issues effectively
- Work well as a team
