RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and common areas (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.)
-Handle preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and systems
-Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the exterior property (groundskeeping, trash removal, snow/ice removal if applicable)
-Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management or guests
-Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment
-Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local codes and motel policies
REQUIREMENTS:
-Basic knowledge of general maintenance, tools, and repair techniques
-Ability to diagnose and resolve problems independently
-Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
-Valid driver’s license preferred
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
-Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
-Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
