We are seeking a Service Plumber for our client in the Willamette Valley area. This is a Temp to Hire position that will work on residential and commercial sites.
Duties:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing system.
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, and thread pipes.
Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and water heaters.
Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly.
Requirements:
Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Additional Skills:
Experience in general maintenance person work is a plus.
Knowledge of pipe threading and welding techniques is preferred.
Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, and determining angles.
Familiarity with HVAC systems is beneficial.
