AJ Medical Transportation: Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver (Marion County, Yamhill County)
Compensation: Drivers will be paid every 2 weeks, starting at $11.00/hr with no experience, more if you have experience. Possible overtime available.
Job Purpose:
Transporting wheel chair, power chair, and scooter patients to and from appointments by driving and maintaining a non-emergency medical transportation vehicle in Marion county and surrounding area. Company is contracted with a handful of brokerage firms who supply AJ Medical with numerous trips.
Duties:
* Transport clients by assisting them door to door; loading and unloading belongings; safely driving the vehicle.
* Follow manifest by the schedule or special request given; determining client and their equipment requirements; checking road conditions; estimating travel times.
* Prepares vehicle by conducting operator maintenance; cleaning interior and exterior; arranging for maintenance; reporting operating problems.
* Fulfills special requests by picking up and delivering items.
* Maintains all HIPAA regulations.
* Documents actions by completing manifests and maintenance records clearly and accurately.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
* Accomplishes transportation and company policies by completing related results as needed.

Requirements:
**All drivers must be 25 yrs. or older.
**All drivers must have a GPS, hands-free headset and a smart phone.
**All drivers will need to pass a very detailed government background check.
**All drivers will need to have no more than three violations on their driver's record within the last five years. Violations consist of: at-fault vehicle accidents or tickets.
**All drivers must be drug and alcohol-free and will be subject to a routine drug-test at any time.
