Job Title: Shop TechnicianJob DescriptionIn this position, you will contribute to the specialized manufacturing of UHP Gas & Chemical Delivery systems for the Semiconductor, Solar, LED, and other disruptive high-tech markets.Responsibilities

Pay close attention to detail.

Assemble parts/products.

Grind, sand, and polish stainless parts to customer specifications.

Work effectively as a team member, establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.

Follow written and oral instructions regarding daily functions, safety rules, and possible hazardous conditions.

Communicate basic information, explain policies and procedures, and discuss needs.

Clean production parts.

Maintain a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Learn new processes.

Work independently and efficiently with minimal direction.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Sit and work on a computer for long periods of time.

Wear safety glasses and other required protection when in the production area.

Essential Skills

Experience in production, cleanroom, grinding, and polishing.

Proficiency with shop tools, metal finishing, sanding, assembly, and hand tools.

6 months of relevant working experience.

Ability to read and write in English.

Operation of basic power tools (grinders, drills, etc.).

Mathematic skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing simple numbers without a calculator.

Ability to read a tape measure/caliper.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Forklift driving experience is a plus.

Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when in the manufacturing facility, with specific requirements varying depending on the area. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, with 4x10 shifts from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sherwood, Oregon.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
