Accounting Manager

Description We are in search of an Accounting Manager to join our team in the healthcare industry, located in Tigard, Oregon. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity where you'll oversee the financial transactions and reports, conduct financial analysis, and maintain the general ledger. Responsibilities: Lead the process of month-end close to ensure all general ledger transactions are completed. Prepare financial reports, charts, and tables monthly and as requested. Conduct financial analysis to understand past, future, and comparative performance. Identify revenue and spending trends and report any inconsistencies/improprieties on the general ledger. Develop and maintain various financial models and templates to assist in financial decision making. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for external partners. Assist with the preparation of deliverables and ad-hoc data requests for the external audit team & other third parties. Review transactions to the general ledger and ensure they are accurate and appropriate. Consistently provide effective and timely communication to the Controller regarding daily activities, and projects. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels of co-workers and external partners. Determine cost/benefit analysis of various programs and provide recommendations on changes to funding levels, if needed. Meet deadlines for completion of daily, weekly, and month-end reporting. Participate in department-wide initiatives and train and mentor entry level staff.
