Title: Software Development Engineer in Test
Location: Portland, Oregon (97224) / Onsite work required
Employment Type: W2 Contract to Hire (no c2c or sponsorship available)
Job Description:
EdgeLink is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join an expanding telecommunications company located in Portland. Ideal candidates will have experience partnering with infrastructure teams to develop and implement scripts for the configuration and testing of hardware and systems. From a skills perspective we are targeting most of the following:

• United States Citizenship required
• BS Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in software, test, or system engineering
• Experience writing code to automate IT functions using Python
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Windows Server required
• Experience with VMware Vsphere (ESXi), Linux, and PowerShell, and Ansible are all nice to haves
• Experience with IP Networking and Networking Devices (Switches, Routers and Firewalls) is also a nice to have
