This position is for candidates who can lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable. This position is for candidates with the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations. Located in the Tualatin, Oregon area, this Accounting Manager position would be on a permanent basis.Responsibilities
Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Work alongside FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies
Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes designing systems and processes, migrating data, testing, training, and administrating
Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met
Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants Requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Practical knowledge of year end closings
Well-founded grasp of Deltek
Full Cycle Accounting experience desired
Account reconciliation experience highly desired
General familiarity with month end closings
Proficiency in Journal Entry Preparation
Journal entries experience
Financial Statement experience preferred
Proven knowledge of bank reconciliations
CPA or MBA preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
Recent relevant financial experience
