This senior level position is primarily an FPGA firmware verification position for a military camera system. A successful candidate will have a background in complex FPGA firmware design and verification. Role can be fully remote.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verify FPGA firmware for a military application
Review requirements for a new firmware designs using enterprise tools such as Jama Connect
Create a test approach, outline, and description for chip and module level verification in Microsoft Word
Implement simulation testbenches to verify requirements in QuestaSim using VHDL
Support the hardware verification team as needed
Present FPGA verification approach to certification authority
Oversee efforts and train less experienced designers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor"s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum 3 years of experience
Must be a U.S. Person / Permanent Resident 'Green Card' holder
Experience working with AMD (Xilinx) FPGAs and Vivado (preferred)
Experience creating test benches and simulating with QuestaSim (preferred)
