Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism. Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve significant re-architecture of important systems, defining and coordinating implementation of wide-reaching impacts. Acts as technical lead of major projects within one area of a product. Frequently consults with customers in regard to future upgrades and products. Influences the technical direction for one area of a product. Promotes innovation through the ability to introduce new technology/knowledge into at least one area of a product and to our people. Provides high-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis. Provide problem resolution and technical leadership for the group. Possesses broad knowledge of internal operating systems, applications implications and customer areas. Technical Lead in guiding junior engineers. Works without supervision on highly complex projects with complete latitude for independent judgment and technical expertise. Extensive knowledge of the field.Job Qualifications:· Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field is required.· 7+ years of experience in C/C programming on Linux or Windows development platform a must.· Expertise in C data-structures and algorithms is essential. Job will require working on large scale software development using industry standard software development and source code management tools.· Very strong written and verbal communication skills in English· Experience with HDL Languages like SystemVerilog or VHDL and familiarity with hardware design and verification is essential.· Prior experience in compiler development or prior experience in EDA tool development will be considered a plusThis position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Transform the EverydayThe salary range for this position is $101,200 to $182,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
