And our work to improve lives is never done.Staff Nurses are responsible for the following:Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.Practices safe medication administration and assesses patient responses to medication.Participates in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.The Staff Nurse will provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period and complete all required documentation.BSN Degree preferredState Issued RN licenseBasic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University. This includes performing cleaning functions in assigned areas while following assigned schedules and specific methods to provide patients, visitors, and staff with a sanitary, orderly, and safe patient care environment. EVS Associates aid in prevention of cross contamination, controlling bacteria, odor, and sustaining acceptable aseptic conditions. They may assist with moves, recycling, delivery of supplies, and the removal of trash and biohazard waste.
