Service Tire Truck Centers, (STTC) a leading provider of truck tires and services to the transportation industry with over 50 + locations in 8 states is offering an opportunity for an ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK at their Corporate office located in Bethlehem, PA.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for depositing and application of payments to customer accounts. The A/R Clerk is also responsible to process credit adjustments and to research and correct discrepancies.
Essential Job Duties (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)
Open mail, prepare and process checks via remote deposit on a daily basis.
Application of check deposits to customer accounts promptly and accurately.
Download electronic payment information and apply to customer accounts.
Process credit card transactions for customer payments.
Application of received on account payments made at branches.
Maintain received on account Credit Card Payment report.
Process adjustments to customer accounts as directed by branches.
Work with Accounts Payable department to ensure that any credit invoices are applied to customer accounts properly.
Maintain internal truck billing and expense weekly.
Apply payroll deductions to employee receivables promptly and accurately.
Assists in other credit and collection duties.

Requirements
Education and/or experience: Associates Degree or prior Accounts Receivable experience.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Computer skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word. Experience with Internet applications.
Reasoning ability: Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
