For this role, we expect you to possess a current Professional Land Surveyor license in the state of Pennsylvania, licensure in multiple states is a plus. You must also have significant prior field experience utilizing data collectors, total stations and GPS. Preference will be given to candidates who have a Bachelors degree in Surveying and have experience with Carlson Survey. The position includes leading a project team on construction layout, boundary surveys, natural gas site development projects, coal mining projects, and land development projects.

Essential Functions:

Prepare and submit proposals to potential clients;

Attend governing authority meetings in representation of JHA clients;

Search legal records, survey records, and land titles in order to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be surveyed;

Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed;

Direct, conduct, verify and record surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles;

Demonstrate effective time management, keeping project budget and deadlines in perspective;

Build relationships with current and potential clients seeking to find their areas of greatest need.

Overnight travel is likely to be required periodically, typically we wouldnt need you to travel more than 3 to 4 nights a month. Daily travel is required. We seek individuals who will have a servant mindset towards our clients and teammates.
