Description An innovative and efficient Staff Accountant is need for a recognized company in the Lehigh Valley. We are looking for a talented and focused individual who will play a vital role in this company. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow in their career and make an impact. Verification and tracking of daily bank deposit activity. Maintenance of cash position record by updating daily cash receipts and disbursement file. Verification of electronic payments of invoices through the receipt of vendor invoices and posts all electronic payments through general ledger. Verification of cash receipts posted completely and accurately at the end of the month and communicates with Central Business Office for any errors. Analysis of credit card activity and records monthly journal entries. Preparation and maintenance of cash reconciliations for all bank accounts on all facilities, including consolidated cash accounts. Update of specific facilities’ cash disbursements on a weekly basis and electronically transfer funds to reimburse Phoebe Ministries for cash disbursements. Calculation of monthly inter-company credit card transfer.
