Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk within the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States. As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions, specifically focusing on accounts receivable tasks. This role involves a range of duties, including cash posting, bank activity posting, deposits, and petty cash reconciliation.Responsibilities: Accurately process and record transactions including receipts and bank deposits Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted Resolve accounts receivable issues with customers or employees Post daily receipts and prepare bank deposits Manage petty cash activities and perform regular reconciliation Prepare and distribute periodic financial statements for users Develop and maintain a filing system for financial documents and records Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and procedures Ensure compliance with all internal processes and relevant regulations Use 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', 'Cash Posting', and 'Petty Cash' skills in day-to-day tasks.For immediate consideration please apply directly to job posting or call 610-882-1600Requirements Previous experience in a similar role within the Healthcare/NHS sector Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management Competency in Cash Posting procedures Experience managing Petty Cash Strong numerical and data entry skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software Strong problem-solving abilities Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Strong customer service orientation Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge as required by the role.
